Camp #5
CRA Hot Rod Camp #5 was held July 5-12, 2009 in conjunction with Goodguys Rod & Custom Associations 12th Annual Nationals at Columbus, Ohio. The assembly began at Custom Resurrections in Grove City, Ohio and finished up at the Nationals located at the Columbus State Fairgrounds. The body, frame and grille shell were all painted at Sam Schriver's shop Paintz by Sam in Hillard, Ohio. This camps project vehicle was a 1932 Ford Hiboy Roadster.
This vehicle was built totally from scratch with all new or refurnbished parts. The eye catching maroon and champaigne two-tone paint job is certain to turn many heads. Here
are some photos to show the activities and work that took place during
the week and changed 6 young men's lives forever. To top the week off, this vehicle was sold immediately following the Goodguys Nationals awards ceremony. Praise God!
